There’s a wind that constantly blows

from the east, telling of a joyous land

we’ve forgotten.

A hidden part of us hears the message of the silent shouting wind and we blindly try to experience that awesome land in far places or in love from others or  in drugs, food, drink, sex, or possessions.  When we don’t find it, we feel betrayal and anger and depression – every sort of fear.

We suffer because we don’t look in the east of our very own selves.
