THE GYPSY

.

The Gypsy was an animal person

and a horse trainer,

as is the case with

many Romany Gypsies.

A wolf was one of the injured animals

which came to her door when injured.

He remained with her until his death.

This is about a good friend

and Reiki mentor, a Romany Gypsy.

She is the person who found and gave into my keeping

the strange stone in my photos.

FIRST MEETING

.

We were walking among friendly junipers

in the high Arizona desert.

We weren’t yet really acquainted, and I was somewhat surprised when the words came out of my mouth uninvited and almost unrecognized, “You have something I need.”

She looked a question at me, and my mouth spoke the words, “You have something that will help give my spiritual life the lift it needs right now.” She said, “Have you heard of Reiki?” I hadn’t, but I knew it was for me.

At the end of the initiation ceremony, which included steps I through III, she surprised me with her psychic abilities by naming a spiritual guardian who was in attendance, though she had no way of knowing of my ties to him. Her many experiences plus her ability to see the energies as we worked with them made her a knowledgeable and passionate mentor, loving but tough as she guided me through sessions which yielded fairly amazing results.

It was truly happening. But part of me still didn’t believe it. The wonder of it is still with me now, and I can’t –

Once, in a training session when I felt a healing taking place in the person under my hands I told the Gypsy, “This is too good to be true!”

Looking and sounding shocked, she very sternly said, “WHAT???!!! GOD’S LOVE TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE???!!!”

.

If anybody still wonders, as I did early on, what this power is that makes our hands burn until we must shake them, the Gypsy nailed it.

When I do Reiki self-treatment it feels like Love.

It’s Love.

.

Here are some other interesting things she told me:

.

She was close with some of the people on the Navajo Reservation, even being trained in the psychic arts by one of their medicine men. A Navajo lady called on her for help, saying that her family was having a serious–a deadly serious–problem with a skinwalker. I can’t imagine any call for help that The Gypsy wouldn’t answer. She did counsel with a medicine man about it–I don’t remember the results of that meeting. The upshot was that she took on the battle.

I only remember highlights. One was that once she heard a scratching at the back door and, thinking it was another of the wild animals that came to her for help when injured, she opened it. What she saw was a fearful half-animal half-man. I’m assuming she saw it because of her ability to see into other dimensions, but I didn’t think to ask her–so much I wasn’t sharp enough to ask. She told me about this to accent a warning she had just given me, which was never to bring a found gift into the house because that would “invite the giver to come in.” She elaborated by saying, “If you find an unfamiliar Indian pot in your yard, for instance.”

ANOTHER TIME

……she felt hands pushing her from her vehicle, which sat high off the ground.

Her saga is a confusing one for me, because she said she was also fighting an Apache witch. She soon left the area, so there aren’t many anecdotes in this story. The next has to do with the witch. (I’m not discounting the idea that skinwalker and witch may have been one and the same. I don’t know. I have only heard of skinwalkers in connection with the Navajo people, however, not the Apache.)

The Gypsy was a horse trainer, very good with animals, and an excellent horsewoman. She had her own beloved and well-trained horses. One day she saw the witch pointing at her while she saddled up for a ride. A picture was taken of her on the horse and, immediately thereafter, the horse acted as if it had gone crazy and bucked her off, injuring her.

Of course the gear and the horse were checked thoroughly. Nothing was found to account for it. When the picture was developed the horse was not there. It showed the Gypsy in midair, sitting on nothing. I don’t have a copy. I did put in my photo album a picture of part of a stump believed to have a spirit living in it. The reason I say “part” of a stump is that the bigger part of the stump is invisible, leaving the top floating in air–on nothing. The tree which also looks haunted in the picture, having black blobbies in front of it, is only a few feet from where the Gypsy was bucked off her horse.

The Gypsy’s invisible horse photo was shot a few feet from here.

I took these pictures later, during the five years we lived on the place the Gypsy had vacated, she being the first person to live there since it was vacated by Indians 700 or so years ago. Yup. It was an interesting five years. Very haunted. Said to be on A vortex. But neither of us challenged any skinwalkers or witches or lions while we were there.

An aside :

the Gypsy being pushed out of her vehicle reminds me of another story I heard years earlier–this one from a stranger. He was touring various theaters and halls in the USA showing pictures from his studies of ancient underground sites in Central America. He said that native guides would only take him within pointing distance of the one I’m speaking of.  A psychic friend (another lady, Jen) had some words with him which caused him to give a private no-charge viewing in her home of some pictures he didn’t show his paying audiences because of their strangeness. He showed us pictures of phantoms; pictures that were extra amazing, given the fact that people were aware of so little of this sort of thing in the 60’s. The most memorable of his photos was in the middle of a series of ten or so. It had a smoke-colored gargoyle-like figure protruding from a stone gargoyle. The other pictures in that series were normal.

What is relevant to the Gypsy’s story is what he reported happening while he was inside the ancient site. He said that, while walking along a narrow ledge, he felt hands pushing him off. But he wasn’t crippled in his fall.

ANOTHER THING :

.

She told me that she had been trained in the psychic arts by her father, by a Navajo shaman, and by a shaman of another tribe — I forget what tribe, but assume it to be Havasupai because she lived with them for a while in the Grand Canyon.
Also her hubby told me that when the dogs wanted out or in, she looked at the door and it opened for them, then closed behind them, without any touch other than that of her eyes.  She had told me that her father had had her practice this for long periods.

A Mentor, A Romany Gypsy, Told Me This Story About The Stone (PHOTOS)

The caliche in the “pores” led a geologist to say that it is at least 35,000 years old.

Folks have remarked that it has strong positive energy.

An unheard voice led to the discovery of this stone.

that’s caliche in the pores, which led a geologist to say it’s at least 35,000 years old. led to it in same area.

THE DISCOVERY:

The Gypsy was awakened in the middle of the night by a voice calling her name.

She got up and followed the voice across about 1/4 mile of high desert and dug the stone from under a bush from which the voice came.

She had a psychic impression of it being carried in a leather bag by a man in leather clothing who was running from enemies and lost it while crossing a river.  Her impressions also show the stone being carried aloft to be seen by the people, much as religious statues or icons are held aloft in parades today.

THE STONE IS A TEASER:

The secluded property at Spirit Mesa seemed a lovely place for Hubby and me to live, so I, with our daughter, and her nine-year-old daughter, went to view it.  That’s how I met The Gypsy.  She was leaving after being there for over a year.

Her meditation area was in one of the rooms into which she took us during the tour, and an object on her altar immediately caught and held my attention.  It had a smooth blackish covering which appeared to be some sort of tough modern material.  The object looked like what is depicted as the head of a gray.  I was very impressed by it and The Gypsy told me the story which I related above.

.

On the next visit I was given permission to see the stone again and went to the room where I had seen it, but it wasn’t there.  In its place was the stone pictured above.  And yet — could it be?

.

When I went back where The Gypsy was working I asked her if there were two similar objects.  She looked puzzled and said that she didn’t know of another.

.

Later our granddaughter, upon seeing the stone again, said, “But Grandma!  It had a shiny really dark red cover!”  (We had not discussed the stone, it being lost in the other strange things about The Gypsy.)

.

If these impressions of the stone are a correct picture of it as it once was, it is much older than 35,000 years because, before it was immersed in caliche, it was perfectly shaped (notice what looks like erosion over its right eye) and had a tough cover.

THE GYPSY WITH THE HAVASUPAI, the people of the blue-green water.

grandcanyon

.

This is the story, told by The Gypsy,

… of a climb she made out of the Grand Canyon with a party of Havasupai, and of a boy’s adventures on that trip.

The child had been told, the night before, that they would be accompanying the group setting out the next day to gather pine nuts and that he needed to prepare.  But he didn’t.  When the group started up the trail on their loaded horses everyone ignored his pleas and kept going.  So, unencumbered by provisions, he hurriedly mounted his pony and set off after them.

When they topped out on the rim they had climbed almost a mile and they were tired and hungry. The much cooler air at this altitude had caused everyone else to put on coats but he had none and was cold.  He watched them eat from their individual pouches, but he had no food.

He begged from his mother and she shared a bite. He begged from another relative who gave him a bite. He begged food from each member of the party.

Desert air cools rapidly with the setting of the sun and when the others bedded down in their blankets the boy sat shivering and alone until he begged his mother to share her blankets with him.

The Gypsy, in telling of this event, passed on to me a lesson in teaching children habits which will serve them well in the harsh times which can come to all of us..

THE GOOD : Does this photo show energy of Kuan Yin?

.

thegood

.

The Gypsy had shown a great

love of and trust in Kuan Yin

… a fact proven by an event which happened shortly after we moved to our secluded home at Spirit Mesa. It was a spot felt by most folks of the area to be haunted, and psychics thought it to be a fairly powerful vortex.

.

Among the strange experiences we had there were odors; mostly of tobacco or of grain parching or parched grain stew, which reminded us of the Chaco people who had abandoned the area, leaving it uninhabited for around a thousand years.

.

But one day I smelled roses. Chances of there being roses within a couple of miles of this remote location were negligible. I phoned The Gypsy, who said that she had asked Kuan Yin to stay there and protect us, and that the odor of roses often accompanied her presence.

.

Is this a photo of Kuan Yin? Or is it one of our own spirit guardians? Or — simply a bizarre reflection of light?

.

I took this photo from our front door. There’s something in the picture which can be taken to show something threatening our home:  https://otherearsothertongues.wordpress.com/2013/06/27/the-bad-from-my-series-spirit-mesa-the-good-the-bad-and-the-ugly-photos/
